Why am I doing this?

School of hard knocks I guess.  About 4 months ago I was visited by the Alameda County Narcotics Task Force.  6 or 8 of them wearing ballistic vests and carrying assault weapons entered my residence armed with a search warrant.  They took all the plants I had growing as well as enough equipment to prove I was doing so.  They also took all my cash, some clothing and my thumb drives.  As of yet, no charges and the report hasn't been turned over to the D.A. so I can recover my property.

The thing is though, I thought I was in compliance with Compassionate Use Act of 1996(Prop 215), California Health & Safety Code 11362.5(SB420) and Oakland City Code 5.81.101 - (Residential and individual limits for non-licensed medical cannabis cultivation).  It turns out I wasn't in total compliance and that left a window open for them to seize my property.

So, I decided to post the results of my research into what it takes to be in total compliance(and be within the guidelines published the by State Attorney General for Law Enforcement) to save someone the troubles and shock of being raided and property seized.
